My family, along with several others, have recently started a new family integrated church in Northwest Indiana, called New Hope Christian Fellowship. I've studied church planting for many years now, and have attended church planter training through the Acts 29 Network, successfully completed Leadership Training at New Life Community Church in Chicago, and have read many books on the subject.
Ultimately though, planting a church a church is of the LORD, and it's a response to His calling in a person's life. The men involved all have a desire for church leadership according the precepts of 1 Timothy 3:1 "The saying is trustworthy: If anyone aspires to the office of overseer, he desires a noble task."
